On June 8, 2024, we cordially invite you to the Grifflenberg campus from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The physics department is celebrating its 101st semester at the University of Wuppertal and is opening its doors!
Experience exciting panel discussions that will take you on a journey through the past 50 years of the physics department. Meet people who have shaped the development of the department and find out more about their visionary ideas for the future.
You can also look forward to interesting presentations on current physics topics that are arousing great interest in society. Topics such as atmospheric research, black holes and the connection between physics and art will be presented in an easy-to-understand manner.
Our hands-on experiments offer you the opportunity to get actively involved. Try the air shower experiment to understand cosmic background radiation, or use a scanning electron microscope to examine your own objects on the smallest scale.
