Cooperations at university level
The Bergische Universität Wuppertal maintains cooperations at university level that include physics. These provide for the exchange of lecturers and students between both institutions. Currently these exist with:

Universidad Nacional de San Martin, Buenos Aires (Argentinien)
Universidad Nacional de La Plata, La Plata (Argentinien)

ERASMUS cooperations
The Physics Department cooperates within the framework of ERASMUS exchange programs with the universities and institutions listed below.
The application procedure runs centrally from now on via the Mobility Online Portal of the International Office of BUW. The required documents and steps can be found here.
Note that application deadlines for the winter semester of any given year have been moved up to January 15 of that year as a result. The application deadlines for the summer semester will probably be set for July 15 of the previous year. You can write the application letter in German or English.
For planning and advice on a semester abroad, please first contact the ERASMUS coordinator Prof. Dr. Karl-Heinz Kampert. He will also be happy to arrange direct contacts with students who have recently completed a semester abroad and can thus report directly on their personal experiences. Please note that the preliminary selection of suitable courses and the necessary clarifications with the ERASMUS coordinator will take some time.
The formal application will then be made centrally through the ERASMUS office of the university. In case of a successful application, you will agree on the Learning Agreement in consultation with the ERASMUS coordinator. Only then can you start your semester abroad. After your return, the final evaluation and crediting will be done by the examination board.
