Mathematical Physics

Our research is concerned with the non-perturbative study of lattice models and quantum field theories, statistical physics, and applications in condensed matter theory.
applications in condensed matter theory. The main focus is on:
• Correlation functions of integrable lattice models and
quantum field theories
• Integrable lattice models and quantum field theories at
finite temperatures (Boos, Göhmann)
• Fractional statistics (Karbach)
• Highly correlated electron systems and magnetism
(Göhmann, Karbach)
• Investigation of functional equations for integ-
rable systems with the help of the representation theory of
quantum groups (Nirov †, Boos, Göhmann)
