The Einstein Telescope – Europe's Next Generation Gravitational Wave Detector

With LIGO gravitational waves were discovered opening a new window into the universes. With the Einstein Telescope, we want to build even more sensitive detectors to explore this window. I will introduce the project and explain a few aspects of its science potential and a few of the technological challenges.
